At Bible Baptist Church, we are committed to a dilegent focus on God's Holy Word. It is not "a tool" or "a resource". It is "The Tool" and "The Resource" for every facet of our daily lives!
Paul charged young Pastor Timothy with a very urgent directive...
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
This charge has not gone unheard at Bible Baptist. Each and every service is used as another opportunity to grow a little closer to our Creator and our Saviour, through the Study of His Word!
The template, or pattern, for such study was laid out in the book of Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 8:8
So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
It is with this pattern in mind that each and every week we delve into the fullness of God's Word - line upon line - precept upon precept - seeking to provide rest and refreshing for the weary!
Exodus 24:7
And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
If you've been looking for purpose and answers in this chaotic and noise filled world that we live in today, look no further!
If you've been looking for a place where God's Word is taught, preached, studied and shared - you've found that place!
Come out and visit with us as we explore God's Word together; applying His answers to the purpose that He has given to each and every one of us.
